Installing Touch Drivers for Prestigio Visconte 3 (PMP810TE)
I still remember my first Windows tablet — the Prestigio Visconte 3 (PMP810TE). It wasn’t the most powerful machine, but I genuinely liked it. It had a solid build, decent battery life, and for its time, it was a great little device to carry around. Unfortunately, after I reinstalled Windows, things went downhill: the touch screen stopped working, and brightness control disappeared, battery control. Windows stock drivers just didn’t cut it — no touch, no battery management, nothing useful out of the box.
After some digging and testing, I finally found a working solution.
If you’re in the same boat, here’s what worked for me:
👉 Download the following driver package from Lenovo (yes, Lenovo!):
https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds039504-baytrail-t-driver-for-windows-81-32-bit-lenovo-miix-2-10-tablet
(File: fabd17ww.exe
(If not available, download it here.))
Just run the .exe
and let it install. To my surprise, it restored touch functionality, brightness control, and even a few other sensors and drivers that had been missing. Despite being intended for a different device, these Bay Trail-T drivers are surprisingly compatible with the Visconte 3.
So if your Prestigio Visconte 3 lost its touch after a reinstall — now you know how to bring it back to life.
Happy hacking!
